President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Security Operations in Abyan Governorate

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), reviewed the security situation in Abyan Governorate during a meeting today, Saturday, with the Director of Security of the Governorate, Brigadier General Ali Naser Bouzaid; known as "Abu Misha'al Al-Kazmi."

President Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed briefing from Brigadier General Abu Misha'al Al-Kazimi on the progress of performance in the police administrations in the districts of Abyan Governorate, the ongoing efforts by the security services in the governorate to strengthen security and stability, as well as the progress of the campaign "Arrows of the East" in tracking down elements of the terrorist organization AQAP, in which units from the Abyan Security Directorate are actively participating.

The President commended the great efforts made by the security services in Abyan Governorate to preserve public tranquility for citizens and appreciated the sacrifices of the blessed martyrs, the brave members of Abyan Security, and the heroic Southern Military Forces who ultimately sacrificed their lives to establish security and cleanse the governorate of terrorist organizations.

The President stressed the importance of maintaining security vigilance and dealing firmly with any attempts to threaten social peace and disrupt security and stability in accordance with law and order, reiterating his commitment to providing the security services with the resources they need to carry out their tasks effectively.

The meeting was attended by Major General Kamal Hamshari, a member of the STC's Presidium and Director of the Office of the President of the STC.
