President Al-Zubaidi Returns to the Capital, Aden, After Official Tour

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), returned on Friday evening to the capital, Aden, after foreign working visits.

The trip of the President included participating in the activities of the World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Davos, Switzerland, where his excellency met on the sidelines of his participation in the WEF with a number of officials and representatives of brotherly and friendly countries, during which they discussed the latest developments in the country and ways to advance the peace efforts made by the region and the world.

As part of his visits, the President met in Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital, with the UN Special Envoy, Mr. Hans Grundberg, the US Ambassador to Yemen, Mr. Steven H. Fagin, and the Director of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Mr. Alexander Kinschak, during which efforts were discussed to durably end the war and bring about peace to the country and ways to stop the Houthi escalation against international shipping lanes.
