NSMA Holds Periodic Meeting and Approves Drafts of Two Annual Reports for 2023 and Plan for 2024

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting today, Sunday, chaired by Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of NSMA, and the official spokesman of the STC.

Initially, Mr. Al-Awlaqi conveyed congratulations to the people of the South and to President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of southern reconciliation and tolerance day. This is a momentous occasion through which the people of the South were able to turn the page of the past and join efforts towards the secure future desired for the South and its people.

Regarding the political developments in the region and the Houthi militia’s threat to international navigation and the negative impact on our national and food security, Al-Awlaqi reaffirmed the position of the STC in support of the efforts of the international community and combating terrorism both on land and at sea.

Furthermore, the meeting approved two drafts of the annual report for the year 2023 and the plan for the year 2024 of NSMA and its sectors, in addition to standing before a range of topics and taking the appropriate measures.
