Presidency of the Council holds its periodic meeting headed by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Thursday, its periodic meeting headed by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Council.

The meeting was attended by the Council's ministers in the parity government, in which the Presidency of the Council reviewed the minutes of its previous meeting and the achieved outcomes, in addition to discussing the latest developments and events in the governorates of South.

The Presidency reviewed the latest movements of the Southern Dialogue Committee abroad, stressing the need to intensify efforts due to of the great importance of the Southern Dialogue to unify the ranks of the people of the South on the path to achieving their aspirations for liberation and independence, and the restoration of the state of the south with its full sovereignty.

The Presidency of the Transitional Council also discussed the monthly report submitted by the Administrative Body of the National Assembly of the Council, and the tasks it accomplished.

The meeting listened from the head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Council, to a review on the latest political developments at the regional and international levels, and local developments in the relevant files, in addition to the results of contacts made by the Directorate with international actors about the future of the political process, and the Riyadh Agreement, the humanitarian and economic situation in the country, and the recommendations made by it in this regard.

At the conclusion of its meeting, the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council discussed a number of organizational and administrative issues related to the work of some of the council's bodies, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
