The General Secretariat reviews its weekly reports and discusses shortage of goods and services

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Monday its weekly meeting at the General Secretariat headquarter in Aden the capital, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, and attended by Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Soqatri, the Assistant Secretary-General.

The meeting reviewed the weekly activity reports of the departments of the General Secretariat, each according to its tasks and specialization, and touched on a number of emerging issues of concern to the departments of the General Secretariat in addition to the achievements of the departments, and ways to overcome obstacles facing the progress of the work.

The Secretary-General stressed that more efforts should be made and push ahead with the tasks entrusted to the departments of the Secretariat in a manner adequate to the current stage, especially after signing the Riyadh Agreement.

The meeting touched on the new developments on the southern scene, and the commitment of the Transitional Council to implement the terms of the agreement, and the attempts to impede its implementation by parties in the legitimacy working to aggravate the situation through making southern citizens suffer of the scarcity of the necessary food commodities and basic services.

The Secretary-General urged the concerned authorities to expedite efforts to solve the problems facing the citizens.
