STC Media Authority Holds Regular Meeting in the Capital, Aden, Chaired by Al-Yafe'y

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) convened its regular meeting today, Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafe'y, deputy head of NSMA.

The meeting discussed the latest political, military, security, and service developments, as well as mechanisms for how media of the South should engage with these developments.

The authority commended STC-affiliated outlets for their coverage of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi’s recent inspection tours across all the governorates of the South, urging further efforts to transform the outcomes from these visits into media programs that promote public awareness and tackle pressing challenges.

Furthermore, NSMA emphasized the need for political and media vigilance in press coverage and media discourse, exposing the facts about public services decline and combating corruption while maintaining positive engagement with citizens' suffering.

At the end of its meeting, the authority touched on a range of media-related topics and issues and took appropriate actions and measures.
