In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Dear Mohammed Ali Yasser, Governor of Almahra Governorate,

Dear Sultan Abdullah bin Afrar, member of the STC's presidium,

Dear Mujahid bin Afrar, head of the LLEB of the STC in the governorate,

Dear local authority officials and LLEBs of the STC in the governorate,

Brothers and sisters, citizens of the governorate of Almahra,

Peace be upon you, and may Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you all. May Allah fill your times with goodness, and may this Ramadan be a blessed month for you all.

Truly, words fail to express my joy, pride, and honor in being among you on this blessed night, which brings us together through the virtues and values of this holy month.

Esteemed attendees,

Today, we are in the heart of Almahra Governorate, the lung of the South and the icon of its liberation revolution, the den of revolutionaries and the symbol of dignity, values, and unrelenting struggles, the epitome of pride, the roaring, and the fiery of revolutionary fervor like the waves of its seas. This is not a fleeting description, but rather a firm, deeply rooted reality ingrained in Almahra—its land, its people, its history, its civilization, its present, and its future.

All those present,

We come today out of love and loyalty to Almahra and its people to understand your concerns and aspirations, to listen to you, and to engage in a heartfelt talk. For decades, Almahra has endured neglect and deprivation under successive regimes that ruled this country. Now, the time has come for Almahra to rise and reclaim its leading role. It has always been, and is still, the eastern gateway of the South, the fortress of the ocean, and a guiding light. It is the vital link between our homeland and the neighboring Gulf states. It is the cradle of rich history and ancient languages. Everything about Almahra—its past, present, and future—is a source of immense pride and honor for our people and our homeland.

Ladies and gentlemen, the esteemed people of Almahra,

We are fully aware of the immense suffering you have endured in this governorate, particularly the devastation left by the tropical cyclones that have struck in recent years. From our position of responsibility in the PLC and the government, we will do our best to ensure that Almahra receives the attention it rightly deserves, within the limits of available resources, and we have directed the ministers to utilize all available means to find solutions and address the issues and demands outlined in the report submitted by the team sent by the STC's Presidium to Almahra Governorate to assess the governorate's conditions and listen to the concerns of its people.

No doubt, Almahra is a promising governorate with immense economic resources and human potential. It is our collective duty to work together in a spirit of teamwork and dedication to uplift this governorate in all aspects, and to ensure that Almahra receives its rightful share of development, particularly in the fisheries and agricultural sectors, and to implement strategic projects to develop the governorate’s ports, expand its road networks, promote its infrastructure, and advance its university.

Dear brothers and sisters, the people of Almahra,

Kindly let me assure you with unwavering resolve that we stand shoulder to shoulder with you. We will spare no effort, mobilize every resource, and devote our full strength to empower the people of Almahra to govern the economic, security, and military affairs of their governorate. This firm pledge is deeply rooted in the principles, tenets, and foundations of our National Project of the South, which will secure Almahra’s distinctiveness and esteemed position. Almahra is the eastern gateway to the South, and it shall be exclusively by its own people. We categorically reject any attempts to turn it into an alternative homeland for anyone else.

Ladies and gentlemen,

I would wholeheartedly like to extend my best greetings to the youth of Almahra, who have set an exemplary model in the path of the Southern Revolution and its revolutionary vigour. My deepest salutations also go to the noble women of Almahra, whose pivotal roles and presence at every turn of our liberation revolution have brightly painted a radiant portrait of the women of the South and their greatness.

We must also extend our deepest gratitude, best appreciation, and sincere thanks to our esteemed brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for the unwavering support and assistance they have been providing to our people under all circumstances. These genuine stances are not new, from our brothers, as they have always stood by us and assisted us in all conditions and turns. Such fraternal stances and humanitarian gestures in Almahra or beyond, in other governorates, are a constant continuation of unwavering support that has stood the test of time.

In conclusion,

From here in Almahra, we reaffirm that we carry a Southern national project that seeks peace and harmony and the vision of restoring and building a modern federal civil state. This state will not only safeguard the interests of our people but also uphold the rights and interests of our neighbours and foster strong fraternal relations with brotherly and friendly countries. Through its entity, people, and institutions, it will positively contribute to the security and stability of the entire region and the world at large.

I once again extend my congratulations to you all on this blessed month, and may you all be well every year. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you all.
