President Al-Zubaidi Reviews Hajj Preparations with Ministry of Endowments

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on Monday with the leadership of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance, represented by Dr. Mohammad Aida Shabiba, Minister of Endowments, and several undersecretaries of the ministry.

The president received a briefing from the minister and his undersecretaries on the progress of work within the ministry and its various sectors, as well as the guiding role in streamlining religious discourse in mosques and religious institutions.

During the meeting, the president listened to a detailed explanation of the ministry’s ongoing preparations for the upcoming Hajj season, as well as the efforts being made to ease all the difficulties faced our pilgrims during the previous Hajj season.

At the end of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi highlighted the importance of creating a sustainable mechanism to tackle the challenges in coordination with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj, reiterating his full support for any measures to enhance services for pilgrims, ensuring they can perform their religious rituals with ease and safety.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Imad Mohammed, office director of the Vice President of the PLC.
