In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful

Praise be to Allah, the Almighty, says in the holy Quran: {Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allah. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration." Allah Almighty is truthful.

All praise is for Allah, Lord of the Worlds. May the praise of Allah and His peace be on Prophet Muhammad [PBUH], his family, and his companions.

Ladies and gentlemen, each by respective name and esteemed title

Peace, mercy, and the blessings of Allah be upon you all,.

We stand today on this solemn occasion to mourn the martyred, heroic commander, Brigadier General Abdul Latif al-Sayyid, a distinguished leader and brave fighter who, throughout his struggle, embodied the most beautiful images and values of sacrifice and selflessness for his land, religion, and homeland.

All attendees:
As we commemorate the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the heroic commander Abdul Latif al-Sayyid, we are simply fulfilling our national duty to honor such leaders and heroes whose names have been etched in history. Their actions, bravery, and sacrifices have been immortalized, as they are part of the sacrifices made by the people of the South and their defense and security institutions, which have taken on the responsibility of combating terrorism on national, regional, and international levels.

The blessed martyr, may Allah have mercy on his soul, lived with a courageous heart and was steadfast in his convictions. He was brave and decisive in carrying out the most important missions, through which he achieved great victories that our people are experiencing in their security and stability today. Foremost among these victories and achievements are those accomplished in the 'Arrows of the East' operation, whose second anniversary we are also celebrating today. We express our pride and appreciation for the heroic role played by the martyred commander Abdul Latif al-Sayyid in leading this operation. This pride and appreciation extends to all the heroes of our armed forces, especially the blessed martyrs and brave wounded.

All attendees:
Among the many lessons we can draw from the life and struggle of this hero is that history is shaped by extraordinary leaders and courageous patriots who are distinguished by events and turning points and pushed by the national, social, and political need into the fray, to represent the spark that ignites change and the decisive forces that shape the future, even if it means sacrificing their own lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Sisters and brothers:
The convergence of the anniversary of the martyrdom of heroic leader Abdul Latif al-Sayyid and the launch of the military operation “Arrows of the East” carries profound significance. Together, these events reaffirm our commitment to honoring al-Sayyid and all martyrs of the South. Indeed, we can honor them only by continuing our existential struggle to defend our homeland and people and to restore our state of the South with its full sovereignty, which is the ultimate goal for which our people have been sacrificing trains of blessed martyrs.

Sisters and brothers:
In conclusion, we pay our respects and tributes to the soul of our martyred commander and all the martyrs of the South who preceded us in attaining the honor of martyrdom. We pledge to them, their families, and all our people that we will continue on their path to realize the goal for which they sacrificed their precious souls.

May our blessed martyrs rest in eternal peace.
May the wounded heroes recover.
May glory be upon the South, its proud people, and the Armed Forces.

Peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you all.
