STC Secretariat Discusses Recent Developments in Living and Economic Landscape of the Southern National Scene


The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting today, Monday, at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, chaired by Major General Kamal Hamshari, member of the STC's Presidium and Acting Secretary-General.

The meeting deliberated on a report prepared by the Economic Department of the Secretariat, which included the most prominent updates on living and economic conditions, like the electricity crisis and its contrived motives aimed at imposing punitive policies on the people of the South, not to mention the collapse of the local currency, emphasizing the STC's unwavering solidarity with the people of the South and supporting their legitimate demands.

The meeting reviewed the weekly activity report of the various departments of the Secretariat during the past week, outlining the activities they have undertaken within their respective areas of expertise. Additionally, the meeting delved into the most prominent developments in the Southern national arena, as well as reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
