The Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Authority (FAEA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) welcomes the Australian government's decision to list the Houthi militia as a terrorist organization, as well as the FAEA expresses its hope that this decision will encourage other countries to unify their regional and international stance to formulate a strict and decisive strategy to deal with this terrorist organization, which has become an unprecedented regional and international threat due to its terrorist operations that have become an ingrained method and behavior in its structure.
The FAEA emphasizes the need for the international community to take deterrent measures against the danger and threat posed by the Houthi terrorist militia to international peace and security through the integration of local, regional, and international efforts to confront and curb this extremely dangerous threat, and that without such measures, it will not be possible to durably bring peace and stability to the entire region.
