Ben Brik Receives Representative of STC's Foreign Affairs to African Union
Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), received in his office on Wednesday morning Mr. Qassem Askar Gubran, representative of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the STC to Ethiopia and the African Union.
In the beginning of the meeting, the vice president welcomed Ambassador Qassem Askar and lauded the diplomatic role of the ambassador in building relations between the STC and the African Union countries.
Ambassador Qassem Askar gave a brief explanation of the diplomatic work and communications of the STC's foreign affairs to Ethiopia and the African Union countries.
Ambassador Askar added that we should benefit from the experiences of countries that have become independent in recent decades, especially the experience of Eritrea, and project the steps of their experience that are appropriate to the cause of the South.
The Ambassador wished all success to Major General Ahmed bin Brik, Vice President of the STC, in his new responsibilities and duties as Vice President.
