Bin Brik Meets with Scientific Delegation from Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial and Banking Sciences and UST


Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, met today, Monday, with Dr. Abdul-Qadir Mohammad Al-Abadi, Dean of the Arab Academy for Administrative, Financial, and Banking Sciences, and Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, Vice Chancellor of the University of Science and Technology (UST).

In the meeting, which included Dr. Saudi Ali Obaid, head of the Planning and Development Committee in the National Assembly, scientific studies and research projects that serve the community and work to find solutions to issues and obstacles that impede the process of progress and development in the liberated governorates of the South were discussed, stressing that the University of Aden, in particular, and private universities in general are the steer of our launch in building a civilized state, noting that the lack of applying laws makes life difficult in all communities.

For his part, Major General Bin Brik highlighted: "We are going through a bad economic situation that casts a shadow on us, as political elites striving and doing our best to stabilize the situation and provide the basic public services to the citizen, so we rely on you as academic elites in addressing the phenomena through the applicable field studies and research."

The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Ahmed Hassan, Head of the Security Department of the STC, Sheikh Rashid Al-Amoudi, and Dr. Sameer Al-Mehrabi, Registrar of the UST.
