President Al-Zubaidi Holds Joint Meeting with ISNDT and Heads of Southern Political Components

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held a joint meeting on Friday evening with the internal southern national dialogue team (ISNDT) and heads of a number of southern political components led by lawyer Ali Haitham Alghareeb, head of a component of the Peaceful Movement and former minister of justice, Mr. Abdul-Raouf Zain Al-Saqqaf, head of the Supreme Council for the Revolutionary Movement (SCRM), and Mr. Fadi Hasan Baoum, head of the SCRM's Political Bureau.

At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by two members of the STC's Presidium, Eng. Adnan al-Kaf and Mr. Salem Thabet al-Awlaqi, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed explanation of the activities of the ISNDT and the outcomes of its meetings with the various components, including political parties, civil society organizations, youth and women’s forums, and the sound views and suggestions that were presented during those meetings for the future and shape of the upcoming state of the South.

During the meeting, the understandings reached by the ISNDT with a number of the main political components were reviewed, and it was agreed to hold a consultative meeting to find out about the drafted national code of honour that will be approved as a document that defines the form and future of partnership between all national forces and components of the South.

After that, the meeting discussed mechanisms of coordination to strengthen the cohesiveness of the southern ranks and consolidate the southern internal frontline to overcome the challenges facing the people of the South and their just cause, and be prepared for the upcoming important political entitlements within the framework of international endeavours to end the war and bring peace to the entire region.
