Al-Kaf meets with the Director General of the Dutch international humanitarian organization

Eng. Adnan Mohammad Omar al-Kaf, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Acting Secretary-General of the Presidency, Chairman of the Relief and Humanitarian Work Committee in the Council, met on Thursday, at the General Secretariat headquarter in the capital, Aden, the Director General of the Dutch International Humanitarian Organization, Abdul Rashid Abdulaziz Balfakih.

During the meeting, which was attended by businessman Jamal Mahfouz Balfakih, Advisor to the Ministry of Local Administration, and the General Coordinator of the High Relief Committee, discussed aspects of joint cooperation and coordination between the two sides, and supporting the relief and humanitarian work mechanism, and supporting development work, to ensure that the aid reaches its beneficiaries in all regions of the south.

Al-Kaf stressed the importance of coordinating efforts and organizing the work of organizations in the relief and development field and helping in efforts to confront the Corona pandemic, and agreeing on a database to help organizations distribute their aid and deliver their services to those who need them.

In the meeting, Al-Kaf listened from the Director General of the Dutch International Humanitarian Organization to a brief explanation of the organization’s activities and the development projects it has implemented on the field, and the efforts it undertakes by coordinating the relief work with external organizations and delivering that aid inside.

Al-Kaf reiterated his assertion that the Southern Transitional Council is ready to provide all facilities and overcome all difficulties that help civil and international organizations to carry out their tasks, and to coordinate the efforts of those organizations with the Relief and Humanitarian Committee of the Southern Transitional Council to harness all capabilities and invest resources with the maximum capacities to provide the necessary needs for citizens.
