The General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council expresses its welcome to the call of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Antonio Gutierrez, for a ceasefire and united efforts to confront the Corona virus.
Where this call comes as an affirmation of the importance of the call made by the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, in his last speech on Sunday, 22 March 2020.
The call was for all political forces, with different orientations, to overcome all inter-ethnic differences and unite efforts for cooperation and solidarity to confront this serious pandemic that threatens everyone, stressing on the need for all parties to feel responsibility in these circumstances.
