Member of the STC Department of Foreign Relations Meets the French Ambassador to Yemen and his Deputy in Riyadh
The southern politician and member of the STC Department of Foreign Relations Adel Al - Shabhi met on Tuesday night the French ambassador to Yemen Christian Tiesto and his deputy Armand in their residence in the capital city of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh .
The meeting was based on an official invitation from the French ambassador to discuss the opportunities for peace in Yemen . They focused on the southern cause and the role of the Southern Transition Council as a partner in the fight against terrorism in addition to enhancing security and stability in the region .
Al - Shabhi confirmed that the meeting was fruitful and a number of topics and issues were discussed especially the southern issue and finding an efficient solution in accordance with the international conventions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly .
The French ambassador pledged to make more efforts and to intensify further meetings with the leadership of the Southern Transition Council in the coming days.
