STC's Foreign Affairs Holds Regularly Scheduled Meeting and Condemns Continued Terrorist Attacks by Houthi Militia

The General Directorate of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held, on Wednesday, in the capital Aden, its periodic meeting, chaired by Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Hajj, Director of GDFA, to review the latest political developments in the national, regional, and international arenas.

The meeting strongly condemned the continued attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia using drones against the populated border areas of the South.

The meeting emphasized neither succumbing to the mobilization of the Houthi militia nor its continued terrorist attacks, which come as a reaction to the grand success achieved by the Southern National Dialogue and its consultative meeting.

The meeting reiterated the call on the international community to compel the militia to abide by international resolutions, end its attacks, and engage in ongoing peace endeavors.

The meeting, too, reviewed a briefing by representatives of GDFA in the United States, the Swiss Confederation, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on their activities and the results of diplomatic meetings and cooperation with international organizations and research and study centers.
