President Al-Zubaidi Receives Sultan Iskandar Al Harhara

 
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), received at his office on Wednesday evening Sultan Iskandar bin Hamoud Al Harhara, son of former Sultan Yafe'a Bani Malik.

At the beginning of the meeting, the president welcomed Sultan Iskandar Al Harhara, who arrived for the first time this week in the capital, Aden, and lauded the national roles of the princes and sultans of the South in supporting the efforts of the southern national dialogue, strengthening national cohesiveness and rapprochement, as well as their supportive positions in the southern liberation revolution through all the crucial turns that the South had gone through since 1994.

For his part, Sultan Iskandar Al Harahrah congratulated President Al-Zubaidi for the grand success of the southern consultative meeting, which culminated in signing the National Charter, praising the immense efforts made by President Al-Zubaidi to strengthen the southern cohesiveness and preserve the gains achieved for the people of the south to fulfill the ultimate goal of our people represented in liberation, independence, and restoring the state of the South with its fully sovereign.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Jalal Al-Rabi'ae, the Chief Staff of the Security Belt Forces (SBF), Commander of the SBF in the capital, Aden, Hussein Al-Saeedi, Commander of the SBF in Lahj Governorate, and Mr. Malik Harhara, leader of the Southern Resistance in the capital, Aden.
