President Al-Zubaidi Holds Meeting with DMSC

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held a meeting Thursday evening with members of the STC's Decision-Making Support Center (DMSC).

At the beginning of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the academic competencies and cadres of the DMSC, praising their efforts in crystallizing visions and recommendations to the Presidium of the STC on developments in the local, regional, and international arenas and the mechanisms for dealing with whatever concerns the South.

After that, the President briefly reviewed the outcomes of the meetings held by the STC's leadership on its foreign tour, the endeavors being made by regional and international powers to end the war and establish peace, and the choices presented within the framework of the comprehensive political process, in addition to the specific dimensions and orientations for the upcoming period.

President Al-Zubaidi asserted that the South is on the verge of important political entitlements during the next stage, which requires the DMSC to intensify its efforts and accelerate the pace of work in line with the great importance that the DMSC represents as a supportive body to the Presidium of the STC in decision-making through scientific and academic recommendations, visions, and studies.

After that, the President listened to a range of interventions and suggestions raised by the members of the DMSC about the work of the STC during the past period, topics related to the cause of the South and the resolution mechanism, in addition to certain inquiries about the orientation of work during the next stage and providing the required clarifications in this respect.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, a member of the STC's presidium.
