The STC Secretary-General attends 11th Batch Graduation Ceremony of Security Belt Forces in the capital, Aden

Mr. Abdul Rahman Jalal Al-Subaihi, the Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), attended a military ceremony on Sunday organized by the Security Belt Forces (SBF) on the occasion of the graduation of the eleventh batch, named after the late Martyr Commander Ahmed Mohsen Al-Sulaimani, at the Martyr Al-Shoubaji camp, which was attended by the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Dr. Mohsen Al-Daari, and a number of military and security officers.

At the event, which was attended by Brigadier General Ali Al-Jabwani, a member of the STC Presidium; Badr Mu'awen, the Assistant Secretary-General of the local authority of the capital, Aden; Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, Head of the Media and Culture Authority; and Ali Mohsen Al-Sulaimani, Undersecretary of Shabwa Governorate, the STC Secretary-General delivered a speech conveying the greetings of President Aidarous bin Qassim Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, to the attendees.

In his speech, Al-Subaihi stressed the importance of the high readiness of the SBF and security services during this critical phase for the beloved Southern homeland and emphasized the necessity of preparing to confront any security threats and dedicating efforts to protecting the capital, Aden, and countering terrorism and smuggling in all its forms.

For his part, the Minister of Defense expressed his congratulations to the graduates for earning the honor of joining the ranks of the SBF and praised the efforts of those in charge of the training course in preparing and qualifying the members of this batch, reaffirming that the SBF has become an established force and a cornerstone in protecting the capital, Aden, and confronting security challenges. He added, "Today we say that whoever enters the capital, Aden, is safe, due to the efforts of these security services and military units."

Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, the General Commander of the SBF, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees and lauded the significant efforts exerted in preparing and qualifying this batch by specialized trainers, highlighting that the SBF has proven to be the safety valve of the capital, Aden, and a fundamental pillar in enhancing security and stability in the South.

The speeches concluded with an address by Brigadier General Jalal Al-Rabaie, who reiterated the continuation of efforts to bolster the security capabilities of the Belt Forces, ensuring the efficient and competent performance of assigned field tasks. He praised the discipline, determination, and patience of the heroes of the SBF and the Southern Armed Forces on all fronts and in liberated governorates through their defense of the Southern homeland from the Houthi militia and the gangs of terrorism, smuggling, and drugs.

The ceremony featured a distinguished military parade, in which the graduates displayed the specialized training they received in field tactics and dealing with terrorist threats and outlaws, as well as close-quarters combat training, and a poetic recital was also delivered, which was well-received by the attendees.

The event reviewed the progress of work in the central operations room of the SBF, along with the general operational archive and the procedures followed in coordinating work among the SBF general command, security services, and joint operations.
