The STC Media and Culture Authority Discusses Strategic Vision for Coming Phase

The Media and Culture Authority in the General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, chaired by its head, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Sheikh welcomed the authority's members, reviewed the latest developments on the Southern national scene, and highlighted the pivotal role of media of the South in keeping pace with these developments. He has emphasized the importance of working in a team spirit to meet the requirements of the current phase, bolster the presence of the cause of the South, and achieve the Council’s supreme goals.

The meeting discussed a range of topics on its agenda, chief among them the authority's strategic vision for the upcoming phase and development plans aimed at elevating the media performance across its various sectors, as well as the mechanism for coordinating with Southern media outlets to help unify the media discourse and serve the cause of the people of the South.

The meeting also included the members' review of numerous ideas, which would contribute to overcoming difficulties and confronting the challenges facing the South's media, thereby enhancing its effectiveness and influence in the political sphere.

At the end of the meeting, the authority's head stressed the importance of redoubling efforts, intensifying the pace of media work, optimally utilizing Southern media energies and competencies, and creating opportunities for young cadres to showcase their creativity and contributions in service of their people's cause.
