The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Major General Kamal Hamshari, a member of the Presidium of the STC and Acting Secretary-General.
The meeting reviewed the work progress of Contact and Bolstering Political Awareness Teams and their engagements with the local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs) of the STC in the governorates of the South and districts, as well as university coordination bodies, where the General Secretariat praised the efforts made by the teams and their direct meetings with all segments of society to enhance national alignment and stand together to navigate the current challenges and realize the aspirations of the people of the South.
Similarly, the meeting discussed an organizational report aimed at improving the performance of the Secretariat's departments in November. In this context, several steps have been taken to boost the organization's efficiency and increase fieldwork of the STC.
Furthermore, the meeting touched on the latest developments in the Southern national scene, covering a range of topics and events unfolding both domestically and regionally.
The meeting went over the weekly activity report of departments of the secretariat for the first half of December 2024 and detailed the various activities undertaken by each department within its purview. In addition to reviewing and approving minutes of the previous meeting after taking into account the raised remarks.
