STC Secretariat Discusses Progress of Restructuring LLEBs in Districts of the South
The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, headed by Major General Kamal Hamshari, a member of the STC's Presidium and Acting Secretary-General.
The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Mohammed Al-Shaqqi, Assistant Secretary-General of the General Secretariat, discussed the progress of the restructuring process of the local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs) of districts of the South governorates, reviewing the completed steps and the challenges faced.
In this regard, the secretariat lauded the efforts of the council’s LLEB of Socotra Governorate, which achieved remarkable progress in restructuring its districts and implementing the approved plans with high efficiency, calling on the rest of the governorates to complete the lists of restructuring their districts.
The meeting touched on the weekly activity report for all departments of the Secretariat and accomplishments in their various jurisdictions over the past week, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
