President Al-Zubaidi Meets with Governor of Ibb Governorate

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Saturday, with Major General Abdul-Wahab Al-Waeli, Governor of Ibb Governorate

During the meeting, which included a number of military commanders in the governorate, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the conditions of citizens in Ibb, which is still under the control of the Houthi militia, and the level of readiness of the military forces that are part of the joint forces and stationed on the border fronts North of Al-Dhalea Governorate.

President Al-Zubaidi indicated that the liberation of Ibb governorate is of paramount importance as it is the first line of defense for Al-Dhalea governorate, asserting his support for the efforts of the governor to unify the ranks of the popular resistance and to enhance the combat skills of the military forces in the liberated areas of the governorate.

For his part, the governor of Ibb valued the positions of President Al-Zubaidi in support of the resistance in the governorate and the military forces stationed on the fronts within the joint forces on the fronts North of Al-Dhalea.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Emad Mohammed, Office Head of the Vice President of the PLC.
