President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed by Minister of Defense on Frontlined Forces Conditions with Houthi Militia

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, met at his office on Monday with the Minister of Defense in the power-sharing government, Lieutenant-General Mohsen Al-Da'eri.

President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by Lieutenant-General Al-Da'eri Al-Da'eri on the conditions of the soldiers picketing on the frontlines with the Houthi militia and the level of readiness of the forces in light of this militia's insistence on a military escalation that obstructs regional and international endeavors for calm and a cease-fire.

Similarly, the President underscored keeping the armored forces in a state of constant readiness and decisively deterring any attacks that the Houthi militia might undertake, while adhering to the utmost levels of self-control, to pave the way for the endeavors being made by the UN special envoy and the countries of the region and the world to end the war and establish peace.

In a different context, President Al-Zubaidi was exposed by the Minister of Defense on the conditions of the officers who are studying in the brotherly Republic of Sudan amid the unfortunate situation in the capital, Khartoum, in addition to the efforts being made by the government to evacuate them along with other students on scholarship and stranded citizens, and what has been accomplished in this respect.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Imad Mohammad, Office Director of the Vice-Chairman of the PLC, and Major General Abdul-Hakim Al-Shuaibi, Office Director of the Minister of Defense.
