President Al-Zubaidi Gives Directives to Establish YSCDC and LSDF

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), has given directives to establish the Youth Skills and Capabilities Development Center (YSCDC) and the Leadership Skills Development Fund (LSDF) under his auspices.

This came during his meeting on Sunday evening, with a gathering of youth and athletes of the South in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Nayef Al-Bakri, a number of members of the STC's Presidium, heads of auxiliary bodies, the head of the Youth and Sports Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the STC, and the leadership of the Youth and Sports Office in the capital, Aden.

The president expressed his pleasure to meet a constellation of youth and athletes of the South, sit with them, and touch on their concerns and conditions, affirming his position in support of youth, as they are the promising force on which it is hoped to build the aspired state of the South.

President Al-Zubaidi addressed his young sons, saying, "I have always believed, and still do, that you are the backbone of this homeland, the fundamental of its renaissance and the resource that is hoped for in bringing about change towards a better future; you make it with your innovative and creative ideas and build it with your forearms, and I say it with all pride and honor that I bet on you and with you we will definitely succeed."

President Al-Zubaidi added, “Trust in yourselves and be optimistic about a bright future. Go forward with stamina and determination, and prove yourselves in all fields with confidence and challenge. We are with you and by your side, and we will never delay in supporting you in all different fields and adopting your external participation in the scientific and sports fields.”

The President and the attendees then listened to a number of interventions by the youth present, in which they expressed their happiness at meeting the President and their pride in his unlimited support and interest in the segment of youth and athletes, reaffirming their support for his leadership until the ultimate goal of restoring and building the independent, fully sovereign state of the South is fulfilled.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Al-Bakri, also spoke at the end of the meeting, expressing his thanks and gratitude for the great efforts exerted by President Al-Zubaidi in supporting and encouraging youth and athletes and his supportive positions in supporting the Ministry of Youth and Sports and its efforts to promote youth and sports reality in all governorates.
