Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly, paid a visit today, Saturday, to the well-known tribal mayor, Sheikh Saleh bin Thabit Al-Nahidi, Sheikh of the Nahid tribes, at his home in the city of Al-Mukalla.
During the visit, in which he was accompanied by Brigadier Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, head of the Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of Hadramaut Governorate, in the presence of a number of sheikhs of Nahid tribes, Mr. Al-Kathiri discussed with Sheikh Al-Nahidi a range of topics of interest to Hadramaut, ways to strengthen the cohesiveness of its people, and the key role of its social and tribal wise men and dignitaries in this aspect.
The Chairman of the Assembly stressed the importance of converging views of the people of Hadhramaut closer, strengthening cohesiveness, and preserving the single social fabric, noting that Hadhramaut receives special attention from the leadership of the STC, as it is the strategic depth of the South and its economic capital, and is always keen for Hadhramaut to have its full and undiminished rights in all fields.
