President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on working progress at Al-Wadi'ah Land Port

The president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), on Wednesday, at his office, in the capital Aden, met with the Director of Al-Wadi'ah Land Port, Mr. Mutlaq Al-Sai'ari.

President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by Al-Sai'ari on the efforts of the administration of the port in easing the entry and exit of travelers, the flow of humanitarian aid provided by international relief organizations to our country, and the encountered difficulties in the security aspect.

The president emphasized the importance of assigning the protection of the port to a well-trained and highly qualified national security service that works to secure this port and to end all the security imbalances, as it is a vital strategic crossing that directly touches the lives of citizens.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the necessity to upgrade the mechanisms of administrative work at Al-Wadi'ah port and the other land ports to be provided with qualified administrative competencies and modern equipment to contribute to accelerating the pace of work and to eliminating the phenomenon of overcrowding and accumulating during the rush hours.

For his part, the director of the Al-Wadi’ah land port expressed his thanks and appreciation for the immense efforts made by President Al-Zubaidi and the PLC to secure and develop all land and sea ports in our country and extend the control of the government over these ports to boost revenues, facilitate the movement of transportation, and speed up the entry of humanitarian aid to citizens in the liberated areas.

Mr. Al-Sai'ari reiterated the position of the people of the Valley and Desert of Hadhramaut in supporting all the efforts made by the PLC in securing Hadramaut; Valley and Desert and enabling its people to manage and secure their governorate.
