President Al-Zubaidi Chairs Council of Ministers Special Meeting

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), on Sunday, chaired, at the presidential palace in Ma'asheeq in the capital, Aden, a special meeting of the Council of Ministers.

The meeting, which was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul-Malik Saeed, was devoted to discussing a number of urgent issues, foremost of which is fully resuming the work in the headquarters of ministries in the capital, Aden, to carry out and accomplish the assigned tasks for all citizens, in addition to ways and mechanisms to double the allocated budgets and provide efficient and well-trained young people cadres.

President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of quickly re-opening the ministries' headquarters in the capital, Aden, and that all ministers have to assume their responsibilities from the main offices of their ministries, emphasized that any hesitancy or work from outside the capital, Aden, is no longer acceptable.

Likewise, the special meeting discussed the operating budgets of the ministries and ways of increasing or doubling these budgets so as to enable the ministries to perform the duties and tasks to the required level.

After that, President Al-Zubaidi listened, from the Prime Minister, the ministers and their deputies, to the total difficulties encountered in their work, the efforts made to overcome the obstacles, and certain opinions and suggestions to activate and intensify the activities of the ministries to boost the economic and service conditions in the capital, Aden, in particular, and the liberated governorates in general.
