Under Patronage of President Al-Zubaidi.. Wahdat Aden Crowned Champion of Al-Muraisi Ramadan Championship.
Wahdat Aden Sports Club was crowned with Al-Muraisi Ramadan Championship in its 26th edition, which was held under the patronage of the president Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and organized by Youth and Student Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the STC.
The coronation of Wahdat Aden Club, in the championship, which was supervised by Youth and Sports Office in the capital, Aden, after winning over Shamsan Club in the final match that was held, on Wednesday evening, on the ground of late Al-Hubaishi Stadium in Crater district, with a score of three, nil, 3-0.
The final ceremony began with a marathon, in which 21 runners particpated from the clubs taking part in Al-Muraisy Championship, as well as a painting was displayed bearing logo of Al-Muraisy Championship in its 26th edition, in an enthusiastic atmosphere filled stands of the stadium.
It has became a highly competed match between the two teams, as player Walid Kadaf Ahmed, the player of Wahdat Aden club, scored the first goal at the 19th minute, and the second goal scored by player Aidarous Hussein Awad in the 27th minute.
At half-time interval in the stadium honoring personnel, contributing to success of this tournament, took place, including the Storm Forces, which contributed to securing Tournament of Stadiums, Electricity Corporation, Tilal's fan Mr. Bahmesh, and a number of the active personalities in this tournament.
In the second half of the match, Shamsan club tried to reduce the difference in scores, but Wahdat Aden Club gave a fine performance and scored the third goal in the 40th minute by its player Aqil Al-Attas.
At the end of the match, Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, Deputy of the Secretary-General in the General Secretariat of Presidency of the STC, Mr. Mu'amen Al-Saqqaf, Head of Youth and Student Department in the General Secretariat, and Dr. Mahmoud bin Jaradi, General Director of Crater district, awarded the gold medals and the Cup of the Championship to the winning club, Wahdat Aden, the silver medal to Shamsan Club for achieving the runner-up, and the tournament's organizing committee was honored.
