The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Abdulaziz Al-Zubaidi on Tuesday evening joined British parliamentarians in a symposium in which he delivered an important speech in the British House of Commons explaining the vision and efforts of the Southern Transitional Council to resolve the crisis in Yemen and to solve the southern issue.
In his speech at the symposium that was on the Yemeni crisis and the southern issue organized by the British Parliament in coordination with the International Politics Institute, President Al-Zubaidi reviewed the roots of the southern issue, stressing that the Yemeni unity project was a failed attempt.
The symposium that was presented by the British Parliament Member, Ms. Gil Vernes, included a number of interventions by Dr. Simon Mabon, director of the Richardson Institute for Peace at Lancaster University and a research fellow at British Foreign Policy Center (FPC), and Iona Craig, Journalist, and Orwell, the Fellow at Arizona State University.
