President ِAl-Zubaidi meets with writers and intellectuals emphasizing on their role in promoting belonging to the southern identity

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met today with an elite of academics, writers and intellectuals of the South in the context of the concerns of the Southern Transitional Council with culture and intellectuals.

In the meeting attended by Amr Akeel; head of the department of culture in the Southern Transitional Council, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to attend the culture, media and awareness and their contribution to the promotion of collective awareness of the society of the South and activate the role of these segments in preserving the southern identity and promote the culture of belonging to the land and humanity, history and civilization of the South.

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, stressed on the role of the writers of the South in promoting the cultural reality, reviving and activating the cultural act and the role of writers in winning the cause of our people through the cultural, creative and intellectual dimension and their contribution in this field.

For their part, the Southern writers and intellectuals expressed their gratitude for this attentiveness of President Al-Zubaidi and his keenness to communicate with them, and his belief in the role of writers and intellectuals in the liberation struggle of our people, stressing that they will participate in the cultural struggle and enlightenment entrusted to them.
