President Al-Zubaidi and the STC Members Attend the first Anniversary of Aden's Historic Announcement

 President of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidroos Qasem Al-Zubaidi and members of the STC Presidency attended this morning the celebrations of the first anniversary of Aden's Historic Announcement (May 4th) and the foundation of the Southern Transitional Council (May 11th).

 The president of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidroos Al-Zubaidi pronounced an important speech to the Southern people in which he greeted them with the salutation of loyalty, victory, relentless determination and invincible will, saying that on this day we all decided to lead the event, the political path and the future of the cause to achieve its goals, represented in liberation, independence and ending injustice and tyranny imopsed on our determined southern people.

 A year ago, on such a glorious day as this, the will of the Southerners that has the true legitimacy, announced its decision and practiced the legal right to protect the just southern cause. The Southerners made it clear that day that the South is a homeland and identity, in its present and its future, for all its people and that the South after the fourth of May is not like before on the groundwork of national accordance and partnership.

 The president said that you have delegated us 'Aidroos Qasem Al-Zubaidi' by announcing a national political leadership headed by us to lead and represent the South till the achievement of its legal goals and aspirations that can never be renounced whatever it takes, we did it when we announced the foundation of the presidency of the Southern Transitional Council on the 11th of May 2017. Here we are today before you and with you, taking vow to Allah to defend the homeland till victory and we pledge as men to men to protect our rights 'undeficient' and to look after the intersets of our just cause, deriving our force from the people; the owner of decision and power.

 The president said that we formed the Southern Transitional Council based on your solid will on which the plots of the enemies got broken during all the previous stages since 1994. Because of you we could make our ambitions come true and no one can change this reality. We broke the isolation imposed on the cause and delivered our voice to the world. Together we lead the event and we make the new political fact towards the future, well made plans and with  steady steps. Those who ignore the true reality  of our new situation we call him torethink and  revise the history, so he may find that the South has not been defeated and will not be defeated whatever it takes.

 We worked throughout the year  in order to complete the construction of the STC bodies, departments and institutions, we made a number of great achievements, starting with the National Assembly that represents all the southern social categories, as well as the other institutions and departments in which we worked hard for them to accomplish  their roles as they should do.

 We innaugrated  branches of  the Southern Transitional Council around the homeland in an organized method  aiming at getting everyone involved in the national action. Partnership is our principle.

 We should realize that our achievements were in the phase of construction and we are lookin forward to reach  a new political phase as we work inside and abroad.

 The new political phase requires to continue working on  popular awareness and public support, through which we can impose our political choices, based on the justice of the southern cause and the will of the free southerners . The world has to realize our legal aspirations and our clear positions toward all the unsolved problems and issues in the region.

 A whole year haspassed, we met a number of governments representatives , the United Nations and international activists and actors, we discussed with them all the political phases our country went through. We presented our vision for a solution for the crisis and we accurately reflected to the world your sacrifices and aspirations, affirming to the world that we will support those aspirations untill  we achieve them.



 We reconfirm  the profound partnership between the Southerners headed by the Southern Transitional Council and the Arab Coalition countries led by Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. A partenership  which  was consolidated  with blood and our common sacrifices to cut the advances of Iran, represented in the region by the Houthis   and the Moslem Brotherhood both produce terrorism and extremism.

 We made bridges of communications with the outside world, affirming the commitment of the Southerners to the international laws, the United Nation Pact and the International Declaration of Human Rights. On the same track, we confirm the need of restoring our legal political rights as approved by all  religions and laws and as a factor to secure the region, establish peace, fight terror and protect the navigation lines.

 We understand that the  the Southerners are eager for victory and we do appreciate your readiness to give more sacrifices to achieve our just national goals, we are proud of you. I do declare on this occasion that we have the capability to make a different reality on the ground and we know all the plots machinated by the enemies of the South and in particular Aden.

 We  are calling for peace, we  patiently handle  the legitimate government's insisting   to humiliate the South and its people, we made the necessary measures to deal with it in a way that serves our cause and protect ourselvees   from that organized imprudence and torture. This speech is a  warning to those who are listening  or who will read it,that we are in Aden and we are armed with will.

 On this occasion we declare the launch or a South-Southern dialogue and we call all the Southerners; individuals and groups to national figures to unify all the Southerners depending on our belief in true partnership and to affirm the southern principle of reconciliation and tolerance.

 The departure of our martyrs was not to accept incomplete projects and our injured people did not sacrifice  themselves  for us to go where the conspirators want us to go. We choose  to follow their steps, we will not stand alone, Allah with us and you are with us and that's what make us strong .
