STC General Secretariat Discusses the Preparations for the First Anniversary of Aden's Historic Announcement
The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting on Thursday under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the Council, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas in presence of the STC Presidency member, Mr. Amin Saleh.
The meeting focused on the preparations for celebrating the first anniversary of Aden's Historic Announcement (May 4th) and the foundation of the Southern Transitional Council (May 11th). The program contains a number of festive events and activities, including a sport tournament at Shamsan Stadium in Mualla City, to mark the occasion.
The Secretary General of the Council, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas praised all the efforts exerted to hold the celebrations, in particular the role played by the STC local leaderships of Aden for the success of the first anniversary which will start on the third of May and will continue until the eleventh of the same month.
