President Al-Zubaidi Welcomes Outcomes of Maritime Security Partnership Held in Saudi Capital Riyadh

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), welcomed the outcomes of the Maritime Security Partnership held on Tuesday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, co-chaired by the UK Ambassador to Yemen and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, with the participation of more than 35 ambassadors and representatives from brotherly and friendly countries.

President Al-Zubaidi reaffirmed that this partnership reflects international consensus on supporting the country and enhancing its maritime security, and noted that the outcomes aim to boost the capabilities of our Coast Guard forces to monitor and safeguard the maritime borders.

His Excellency pointed out that the outcomes reflect a growing awareness of the strategic importance of our sea lanes, as they are a major artery for global trade and a guarantee for international energy security, highlighting that safeguarding these lanes is a shared responsibility that serves the interests of the region and the entire world.
