President Al-Zubaidi Unveils Memorial for Martyr Commander Munir "Abu al-Yamamah" in the Capital, Aden

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces formally unveiled a memorial on Saturday morning honoring late commander, blessed martyr Munir Al-Yafei, known as "Abu Al-Yamamah," and his comrades, at the command of the First Support and Reinforcement Brigade in the capital, Aden, in the presence of the martyr's father and a number of senior military commanders and security officers.

During the event, President Al-Zubaidi laid a wreath at the memorial and recited Al-Fatiha for the soul of the blessed martyr and his valiant comrades, paying tribute to the heroic epics of the late Commander Munir Al-Yafe'i, "Abu Al-Yamama," in the battles he fought against terrorist groups, and his immortal national stances since the founding of the Southern Resistance.

The President reaffirmed that the pure blood of the blessed martyr, the late Commander "Abu al-Yamamah," and all the righteous martyrs remains a guiding beacon for our people of the South in the path of their right revolution until achieving full independence and emphasized that honoring the martyr Commander "Abu al-Yamamah" and all the martyrs of the South is embodied in continuing their quest, strengthening national cohesiveness, and consolidating the pillars of security and stability in all governorates of the South.

Brigadier General Nasr Atef, commander of the First Support and Reinforcement Brigade, said that the construction of the monument to the late Commander Munir Al-Yafe'i "Abu Al-Yamama" and his comrades at the place of their martyrdom is a tribute to a brave leader who gave his precious soul for the sake of his Southern homeland and its people.

The event was attended by a number of senior security and military leaders, including Major General Haitham Qassem Taher, member of the STC Presidium and head of the Security Operations Authority; Major General Saleh Ali Hassan, head of the Joint Operations Authority; and Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, commander of the Security Belt Forces.
