President Al-Zubaidi Reviews Workflow of STC's Local Leadership in Abyan Governorate

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met Saturday with Samir Al-Hayaid, head of the STC's local leadership executive body (LLEB) in Abyan governorate.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the progress of the LLEB's work across Abyan and its districts during the first half of 2025, upcoming programs, activities, and the key challenges faced by executive bodies in fulfilling their tasks.

President Al-Zubaidi emphasized the critical need for local leaders' activities to be effective, citizen-centric, and contribute directly to ensuring security and stability in close coordination with local authorities and security services, and underscored the importance of identifying and empowering competent personnel and well-qualified individuals to participate in community service.

At the end of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi reiterated the paramount strategic and economic importance of Abyan governorate and the great attention it receives from the STC's leadership, reaffirming his readiness to provide all aspects of possible support to the local leadership to successfully fulfill its national role to the fullest.
