President Al-Zubaidi Chairs Expanded Meeting of LLEB in the capital, Aden


President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), chaired today, Saturday, the expanded meeting of the local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs) of the STC in the capital, Aden.

In his speech, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the attendees, who included heads of administrations of the LLEB in the capital, Aden, and its districts, stressing that they bear a great national responsibility due to the symbolic importance of Aden as the political capital of the South. Therefore, his excellency urged the LLEBs in Aden to contain everyone and work for the public benefit of all, emphasizing the importance of exerting maximum efforts and working as a team to serve citizens in all districts, to address their concerns, to understand their conditions, to find quick possible solutions to their problems, and to harness all available resources to alleviate their suffering.

President Al-Zubaidi highlighted the importance of strengthening organizational work across the various bodies of the STC, enhancing coordination and integration mechanisms with local authorities in the capital, Aden, and its districts, and working hand in hand with community committees and representatives of the capital, Aden, in central bodies to present an honorable image of the STC and strengthen its popular and political presence.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, a member of the STC's presidium and head of the LLEB of the STC in the capital, Aden, presented a report of the General Secretariat of the STC on evaluating the performance of the LLEB of the STC in the capital, Aden, highlighting its most prominent achievements in various organizational, political, and social aspects since the formation of the new LLEB in accordance with the restructuring decree. 

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi received briefings from heads of administrations in the LLEB in the capital and heads of LLEBs in the districts, who provided a concise overview of the situation in their respective districts and outlined their plans to enhance performance and engage with the community to deliver whatever is possible to citizens under the current exceptional circumstances facing the South.
