President Al-Zubaidi Meets the Family of Martyr BG Saeed Al-Suraimi and Praises Their Ultimate Sacrifices


President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on Friday with the family of the martyr, the late Brigadier General (BG), Saeed Abdullah Al-Suraimi.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the great deeds of Al-Suraimi family, pointing out that the martyrdom of BG Saeed Al-Suraimi and his two sons, Abdul Majeed and Abdul Quddus, is clear evidence of the determination of the people of the South in defending their land and dignity, and their heroism will surely remain a source of pride and honor for all the people of the South.

President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the wounded Anis Saeed Al-Suraimi and his brothers about  their family. The President directed the treatment of the wounded and the care of the martyr's family, affirming his keenness to fully follow up on the conditions of the families of the martyrs and care for them, as part of the firm approach taken by the STC.

In turn, Al-Suraimi family expressed their great gratitude for the attention that President Al-Zubaidi pays to the martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives for the South and its cause and in defense of their land, religion, and dignity, promising to continue their unrelenting struggle until all the goals for which the blessed martyrs ultimately sacrificed their precious lives are achieved.

It is worth noting that BG Al-Suraimi, who belongs to the district of Ain Bayhan in Shabwah Governorate, was martyred along with his two sons, while his third son was injured in confrontations with the Houthi terrorist militias in the Bayhan districts of Shabwah Governorate.

The meeting was attended by a member of the STC's Presidium and Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Committee (CRC), Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, and the Director of the Office of the Vice President of the PLC, Mr. Imad Mohammed Ahmed.
