President Al-Zubaidi Congratulates People of the South and Armed Forces on the 60th National Day of Glorious 14 October Revolution

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

Our great people of the South, both at home and abroad, and the heroic armed forces, I am immensely pleased, on this glorious and blessed evening, to extend to you my sincere and heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the 60th National Day of the glorious 14 October Revolution, the first spark that was triggered from the high mountains of Radhfan.

Verily, the 14 October Revolution had a major role in awakening the values of rejection of the colonial presence, strengthening the culture of the unified southern national will, and resistance to all hegemonic projects that are intended to be imposed on our people and our land.

As we celebrate this precious occasion, we do remember with all reverence and pride the uncompromising struggles and ultimate sacrifices of our people throughout the governorates of the South for freedom and sovereignty over their land.

Indeed, the victories that have been achieved on the path of restoring the state of the South deserve further steadfastness, patience, and determination from all of us to protect those gains and achievements against hatched conspiracies, intrigues, and attempts to circumvent them.

We reiterate our congratulations on the sixtieth National Day of the Fourteenth of October Revolution and the best wishes to our people, who are squarely going from victory to victory.
