President Al-Zubaidi Reviews Implemented Projects to Enhance Water Field Production Capacity in the Capital, Aden

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (LPC), was briefed on the progress of work in the Water and Sanitation Local Corporation (WSLC) in the capital, Aden, when he met today, Tuesday, with Eng. Mohammad Ba-Khubaira, Director General of the WSLC.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a brief explanation from Eng. Ba-Khubaira about the projects being implemented by the WSLC with the support of the brothers in the United Arab Emirates to enhance the production capacity of the fields, modernize the water transmission lines, and address the problem of a lack of quantities reaching some areas.

The President stressed the importance of redoubling efforts to maintain the stable supply situation, addressing the two problems of poor pumping in other areas and water loss resulting from random connections, and making maximum efforts to preserve groundwater from depletion.

At the end of the meeting, Eng. Ba-Khubaira appreciated the interest shown by President Al-Zubaidi in the progress of the work of the WSLC and his keenness to provide all aspects of support to the directorship of the Corporation to properly and conscientiously assume their responsibilities and perform the entrusted tasks.
