Lamlas: It's an exotic behavior to use and deal with drugs in our society

The Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, met on Saturday, Suad Alawi, Head of Aden Center to Raise Awareness of the Risks of Drugs. In the meeting, the Secretary-General listened from Ms. Alawi to a briefing on the activities and programs of Aden Center, and how the awareness programs of the Center contributed in the promotion of community culture awareness towards the dangers of drugs on the society, family and individuals.

 

The Secretary-General praised the efforts of the head and the officials of Aden Center for Drugs Risks Awareness, stressing that the role played by the Center has a noble humanitarian and social value. Lamlas pointed out that these efforts should receive adequate care and support, stressing that drugs are serious threat, in which using and dealing with drugs is an exotic behavior to our southern society, that must be fought and eliminated. The Secretary-General affirmed that the Southern Transitional Council will stand by all peace organizations and initiatives to contribute in the creation of an enlightening culture that will keep young generations moving towards creativity and innovation away from the ideas of extremism and deviation.  

Lamlas expressed the Southern Transitional Council readiness to cooperate with Aden Center to carry out the duties, activities, and the programs of its noble humanitarian mission.
