President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), delivered a keynote address to the people of the South both at home and abroad on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan.
In his speech, President Al-Zubaidi urged to project the deep-seated values of benevolence, giving, tolerance, and compassion, as well as solidarity, synergy, good deeds, and the embodiment of the high rituals of this holy month.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise is for Allah, Lord of the Worlds. May the praise of Allah and His peace be on Prophet Muhammad [PBUH], his family, and Companions.
(The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion [between right and wrong]) (Al-Baqarah 185). Allah Almighty is truthful.
Ladies and gentlemen, the great people of the South, both at home and abroad
Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
As we receive on this blessed night a great religious occasion, which is the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of mercy, forgiveness, and faith, it is an immense pleasure to extend to you all my warmest congratulations, supplicating to Allah, the Almighty, to grant you goodness and blessings, and to our beloved homeland peace, safety, and prosperity, and to return it to the people of the South, and Arab and Muslim nations with blessings, peace, and prosperity. "And ever is Allah competent to do that."
O Great People of the South, both at home and abroad
The blessed Ramadan is the month of goodness and mercy, in which we have to give and exert whatever we can of giving and compassion, for good deeds and doing good will that have a double reward in this month, so be kind to each other, and let's concert our efforts towards sympathy and compassion, and race to do good, righteousness, and benevolence, and uphold the values of cooperation and solidarity.
Dear Fellow Citizens,
We are well aware of the challenges that you have been unfortunately going through, and as we follow up with the subtle details and do feel what you suffer and face in your daily living, and in particular our people in the capital, Aden, and from our position, we affirm that we will definitely continue to change this dire reality, in commitment to what we were assigned and will spare no effort in this regard, being present with you and standing by your side in our eternal capital, Aden, to serve our people, defend their interests, and preserve their gains. It is a firm pledge we made to ourselves, and we will never break or deviate from it under any circumstances. As it is, the full trust that will never be betrayed.
O Valiant Heroes of the Southern Armed Forces
Really, we salute you with a special greeting appropriate to your heroism and victories, through which you have gained great glory and immortal victories for your homeland and the people while picketing on the frontlines of pride and dignity, embodying the most remarkable examples of ultimate sacrifice and redemption, and you will surely remain throughout history the source of our pride, confidence, and valve of our people's security.
O Great People of the South
We reiterate our best congratulations to you on the advent of the holy month, praying to Allah, the Almighty, to give strength to observe the fasts and perform the prayers with devotion, as our Lord loves and which pleases Him, praying to Allah to bestow His vast mercy, forgiveness, and abode our martyrs and those who fell defending our cause, land and dignity in His paradise, a speedy recovery for the wounded, and freedom and safety to our heroic prisoners and detainees.
