Al-Beidh Meets Officials and Representatives of Organizations and International Media in London

Mr. Amr Ali Al-Beidh, member of Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Special Representative of the president Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC for Foreign Affairs, held a series of meetings over this week, with a high number of officials and representatives of organizations and international media and networks in London; the British capital.

In this paid visit, Al-Beidh met with representatives from the British Ministries for Foreign Affairs and Development, in addition to that he held gatherings with a group of non-governmental and international organizations. 

Generally, the meetings reviewed the latest and most prominent developments on the local landscape, significant progress at various levels and prospects for the South and Yemen.

In these meetings, Al-Beidh expressed appreciation and gratitude for the exerted efforts to put an end to the conflict, and achieving the accrued-rights of peace and stability, similarly, he stressed the importance of supporting the ongoing endeavours and work of the UN special envoy, and boosting the political process led by the UN.

Over the meetings, Al-Beidh pointed out the significancy of coherence and coordination among the Presidential Leadership Council, emphasized on establishing a specific framework to expedite finding solutions to the cause of the southern people and the crisis of unitification, reaffirming the keenness of the STC to provide an appropriate environment for the work and performance of all international organizations, and assured its readiness to assist and cooperate with each initiative dedicated to the humanitarian aid and human rights.

In the same context, Mr. Amr Al-Beidh held a gathering with a number of editors and international media, representing a group of different media and networks, in which he delivered snippets of information to what had taken place in the meetings, and succinct of the STC's political vision on the current situation.

The meetings were attended by Mr. Mohammed Al-Samhi, Head of office of the STC in Britain.
