National Assembly inaugurates in Mukalla intensive training course for its members in Hadramout, Shabwa and Al-Mahra

The Studies, Research and Training Committee of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council inaugurated on Tuesday, in Mukalla, of Hadramout governorate, an intensive training course for the members of the National Assembly, in the field of methodology for preparing and writing political papers and reports and their analysis.

The session was held under the auspices of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, in which Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, member of the Presidency of the Council, Chairman of the National Southern Media Authority, official spokesman of the Council, and Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Saeed Al-Mohammadi, Head of the Executive Authority of the Local Leadership of the Council in Hadramout governorate, at the opening ceremony of the training session, each delivered a speech, in which they stressed the importance of this session in refining the capabilities and skills of the members of the Assembly in the aspects of political analysis and preparing and writing political reports, reviewing the latest developments in the political and security situation in the governorate and the South in general, and the multiple military, economic and media wars that our people are facing.

Al-Kathiri and Al-Mohammadi stressed that the determination of our people and their adherence to their right to freedom and independence are enough to win all those wars, and overcome difficulties and challenges, wishing for the participants in the session the success and benefit from its outcomes.

Dr. Fadl Al-Rubaie, Head of the Studies, Research and Training Committee of the National Assembly, started the session by welcoming the participants, conveying to them the greetings of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Council, and Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, the Chairman of the National Assembly.

Al-Rubaie reviewed the nature and scope of the course and its objectives, noting that the course, which will last for three days, and targets members of the National Assembly in the governorates of Hadramout, Shabwa, and Al-Mahra, is part of a lengthy program prepared by the National Assembly’s studies, research and training committee.

Al-Rubaie indicated that this program, which includes eight courses to be implemented in the capital, Aden, and Mukalla, aims to qualify the members of the Assembly in political and human rights fields, as well as in monitoring and crisis management.
