Major General Bin Brik expressed, in his name and on behalf of the leadership and members of the Southern National Assembly, his sincere congratulations to the President Al-Zubaidi,, and through him to all our proud southern people at home and abroad, and to members of the Southern Armed Forces, on this great occasion, in which our people revolted against the mightiest empire of occupation, forcing it to leave, after four years of liberating struggle, and long convoys of honorable martyrs, who sacrificed their pure blood for the soil of the homeland.

The Chairman of the National Assembly pointed out that the anniversary of the October 14 Revolution returns this year and our people are still engaged in a continuous liberating revolution, in the face of a new occupation that imposed its presence on our land and people by force of arms since 7 July, 1994.

This occasion is also renewed in light of the intensification of the war, and the conspiracies against our people and our country, a war that takes multiple forms and shapes, militarily, politically, economically and in services, stressing that our people, just as they won their previous wars and overcame the conspiracies and intrigues that targeted them in their past stages, will win in their current battle, especially today, as they are living in an advanced state of their military readiness and political awareness of the necessity of owning his decision, preserving their sovereignty and preserving their dignity.

Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik saluted the struggle positions and steely steadfastness of the Southern Armed Forces, led by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, and his wisdom and sense in managing the political and military battle, and winning it despite the complexities of the stage, and the gathering of forces hostile to our people, to their political leadership, and to their valiant armed forces.

The Chairman of the National Assembly renewed the pledge to President Al-Zubaidi, and to our loyal southern people, to proceed on the path of freedom, pride and dignity, the path of the martyrs, until the full achievement of the goals of our revolution, reaching to the second national independence, and the building of the southern federal state, with Aden as its capital.

Major General Ahmed Bin Brik concluded his telegram by praying to Almighty Allah to accept the martyrs of the South in the various stages of its southern liberation struggle, with mercy and forgiveness, and to crown the struggle of our people with a clear victory.
