The General Secretariat holds its periodic meeting headed by Al-Jaadi

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Monday, held its periodic meeting, headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.

The meeting previewed the economic scene report submitted by the Economic Department, which included the most prominent crises that the country is going through, foremost of which is the continued collapse of the value of the local currency, and the rise in food prices and oil derivatives.

The economic report also touched on the electricity power service crisis in the capital, Aden, and the southern coastal cities, and its cuts off for long hours, and the suffering incurred on citizens as a result of this.

The meeting also reviewed two reports submitted by Human Rights Department and Public Department, which included the most prominent activities carried out by the two departments during the first half of the year 2021.

The meeting also dealt with developments in the capital, Aden and other governorates of the South, as well as issues related to the activities of the general secretariat departments and executive bodies in the governorates, in which proposals were presented that would support and develop the works of the secretariat departments.

In turn, the organizational department presented, during the meeting, a draft action plan for the meetings of the General Secretariat during the fourth quarter of the current year, that was discussed by the participants before being approved.

The meeting reviewed the weekly achievement reports of the departments of the General Secretariat, as well as the minutes of its previous, and approved it.
