The General Secretariat holds its periodic meeting chaired by Al-Jaadi

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held today, Monday, its periodic meeting, chaired by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.

The meeting reviewed the political scene report submitted by the Political Department, which included  presentation of a number of political issues in the southern arena, foremost of which is the events in Lauder district of Abyan governorate, and the violations against the people of the district after the barbaric attack on the city by Brotherhood militias.

The meeting discussed a report submitted by the Administrative and Financial Department, which presented the progress of work in the General Secretariat and the level of discipline of the Secretariat's staff during the month of June.

The meeting also listened to the semi-annual report submitted by the Legal Department, which included the most prominent activities carried out during the first half of the year 2021.

The meeting also previewed the ongoing preparations to hold activities to commemorate the Southern Land Day, on 7^th of July, which will be organized in a number of governorates of the South, stressing the importance of active participation in these events.

The meeting touched on a number of other developments in the governorates of the South, foremost of which are the problems of services, the continuous collapse in the value of the local currency, and its resulting rise in the prices of food commodities.

The meeting also reviewed the weekly achievements report of the departments of the General Secretariat, and the minutes of its previous meeting.
