Ministers of the government of parity between South and North issue important statement

A number of ministers of the government of the parity between the South and North issued a statement, expressing their regret, for issuing a statement on Saturday, July 3rd , 2021, in the name of the government of parity between the South and North, without their knowledge as members of the government.

The ministers stressed that using the name and description of the government of parity in escalatory statements targeting the efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who are keen to unite the ranks together, and to confront common risks and threats against the South, North, and the region, is a very dangerous matter.

In the statement, they also affirmed their full support for the local authority in the capital, represented by the governor of Aden, for the efforts he is making to activate the media, economic, and service institutions of the state with their original cadre, after they have been closed for more than 7 years, and we call on the Prime Minister and members of the government who are abroad to return to participate and support these efforts. .

Below is the statement:

A statement issued by the ministers of the government of parity between the South and North

We express our regret for issuing a statement on Saturday, 03 July, 2021, in the name of the government of parity between the South and the North, without our knowledge as members of the Government.

The use of the name and description of the government of parity in escalatory statements targeting the efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who are keen to unite the ranks and confront the common dangers and threats to the south, north, and the region, is a very dangerous matter.

We affirm our full support for the local authority represented by the governor of the capital, Aden, for his efforts to activate the state’s media, economic and service institutions with their original cadre, after they have been closed for more than 7 years, and we call on the Prime Minister and members of the government who are abroad to return to participate and support these efforts.

We point out that fabricating political and economic crises and igniting absurd wars among local communities, as it is happening in Abyan governorate (Lauder District), is only a picture of what we mentioned above, which is unacceptable and unjustified, and may lead to getting the matters out of control, at a time that the Riyadh agreement and its sponsors call to direct weapons at the real enemy represented by the Houthi coup militias and their supporters.
